Season 2: Episode 01: The Eviction Prediction Show - The Coming Rental Crisis In 2021

In our first episode of the season, Let’s Talk About Race is tackling the impending housing crisis that’s set to become one of the largest economic disruptions since the 2008 Recession. Covid eviction moratoriums are beginning to run out and there’s no real financial relief in sight for many Americans still dealing with the economic impact of the lockdown, shuttered businesses, and layoffs. These moratoriums, while helpful, do not alleviate the growing debt that tenants are accruing. So, where do we go from here and how do we get ahead of this crisis before it becomes a tsunami whose undertow will be felt for generations? 

With the behavior of the white Evangelical Church being at odds with social justice and the core teaching of Jesus it’s hard not to become disenchanted with them, and in The Faith Report we look at how the Church has failed at engage in critical thinking, biblical scripture, and the core tenants of loving your neighbor.
